End of September a general planning contract was signed for a new Logistic Park in close proximity of the city of Krasnodar.  Krasnodar is a metropolitan area of more than a million inhabitants in the state of Adygheya in the south of the Russian Federation.

The contract was signed by Gerhard Evers, CEO of fablog-consulting GmbH and General Director of the Russian fablog / OOO Translog, the prime minister of the Adygheya -Republic Mr. Murat Kumpilov and the investor KUBANINVEST.

After the contract signing, the prime minister reported during a TV Interview, that during this year’s investment forum, investments in the extend of 250 billion Rubles, hence around 5 billion Euro were signed.  He is especially excited about the logistics initiatives since his region still has needs. Further he noted, that due to the involvement of a German- Russian planning company right at the beginning of the project one can expect a high quality project work and a good result.

Mr. Evers also was interviewed by Russian TV with regards to general logistics aspects as well as to the specific project of the Kransodar Logistics Park.

Dr. Kirstin Huettner-Tong joins the Fablog-Consulting-Team in Berlin

Dr. Kirstin Huettner-Tong joined the fabog consulting team in June 2009. 

Mrs. Huettner-Tong worked as a consultant in the USA and South America for over 14 years.  Her expertise is in supply chain optimization and operations management. Mrs. Huettner-Tong and fablog worked together on several projects during her time in the US, but now she’s excited to be part of the fablog team in her hometown Berlin

fablog consulting opens office in Yerevan/ Armenia

Beginning of August 2009 Fablog-consulting will officially start its operations in Armenia.  President of the Armenian operations is Dr. Grigori Nazaryan, who has significant working experience. 

He received his education in Armenia and in the USA. The office in Armenia will manage projects in all neighboring countries such as Turkey, Georgia, Iran, South Russia and even further away such as Kazakhstan.
 
Fablog is planning an opening ceremony in the beginning of September at which representatives of the Armenian Government as well as the member of the German Bundestag Clemens Bollen are expected.

Upcoming Tradeshows for the fablog-group

Fablog-consulting and its sister companies in Russia, China and new in Aremina will participate at different industry and logistics tradeshows this fall.

1. Armenia
   The Armenian Expo 2009 trade show in Yerevan, Armenia,  takes place 4 - 6 September.  Being the most important industry trade show in Armenia, fablog will exhibit at stand 2.6

2. Kazakhstan
   Directly following, the Transit-TransKazakhstan logistics trade show takes place on 16-18 September in Almaty, Kazakhstan.  This will be fablog’s first time exhibiting.  You can find us at Pavilion 10.

3. Moscow
   
   

   One of our regular trade shows is the logistics tradeshow in Moscow STL, on 26 - 29 October. Fablog will exhibit in the Pavilion Nr.1, stand 1C15.

Logistics real-estate in our new Web-Portal

As a new service for our customers, fablog-consulting is launching a new web-portal for logistic real estate.  Launch is planned for end of July 2009. Companies offering property for logistics operations can place their offers on this portal, while one searching for the right property for their operations can easily find what they’ve been looking for. 
The portal will be first launched in the Russian Federation and CIS. Due to its multi-lingual capabilities, English, German and Russian, it can also be employed in other countries. The extension for the Chinese market is planned in the near future. Of course, this service is free for fablog-consulting clients.
